January 16, 2008 – Lionsgate officially released the theatrical trailer to the upcoming sequel of CRANK, the all-new, recharged CRANK 2: HIGH VOLTAGE. The clip is full high voltage infused action, electrical sexual tension — and a fake, power-driven heart. This trailer comes only days after a red-band (not suitable for all audiences) was leaked online, and then pulled due to MPAA guidelines. Essentially, Lionsgate was not authorized to release such a trailer, and certainly not on an unrestricted medium.
